The University of Calabar Law Students Association Of Nigeria will be conducting their election soon and many things have been observed.

1.    Has the Position of Lawsan President become the exclusive reserve of the female folks as the men now struggle to become vice presidents?

Over the years, you don’t find women coming out to contest for the position of the faculty president, how come no male is contesting the forth coming election?

All the 400Level male folks who had the intention of succeeding Mr. Dennis Okpong as the Next lawsan President have

2.    How come the Male Folks are now queuing behind the female folks without any objection of any kind?

3.    Have the Female folks become so powerful that the males cant engage them in an election Contest?

Surely…… there is an invisible hand of an ‘Oga at the Top’ monitoring and regulating the whole process.

Meaning that the students have lost their right and they are even law students.

What then is the fate and future of our Judiciary and judicial system?

Who is fooling who?

When you are being threatened that you will not graduate or will not go to Law School if you Challenge the Authority of the ‘Oga at the top’

 When shall the students be united in one course to do what is right?

When the students shall know what is right, do what is right no matter the opposition.

Tomorrow, you will hear students criticizing the Government meanwhile you as a person and as a small group have not been able to stand for what is right……..

RCF/RCCF Holds Leaders Training Program @ Redemption camp. Pst. Adeboye admonishes them to be endued with power.

The Redeemed Christian Fellowship and the Redeemed Christian Corpers Fellowship which is an arm of Christ the Redeemers Ministries organized a leadership training program for all leaders and workers in the fellowships.
The program which saw in attendance over 5000 Students /Corpers from all over Nigeria and beyond.
The program which took place from the 5th - 9th of November 2014 at the Redemption camp of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. Lagos-Ibadan Express way.
There was Teaching and Ministrations by several speakers which included the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God. Pastor E. A. Adeboye. The Vice President of Christ the Redeemers Ministries (Administration and Evangelism) Pastor E. A. Odeyemi.

Cross Section of Attendees

Renound Dr. Ken Katas, founder of Ken Katas Youth Foundation and a Consultant with the Federal Ministry of Education on Unity Schools in Nigeria took sessions. A session on Exploits in Academics, another in Relationship and courtship.
Pst. Adeolu Adeboye handled the business /Entrepreneurship Session.
Prof (Pst. ) Ola Osibajo who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and a two time chief Judge of Lagos State took the Public Sector/Academic Session for those who wanted to be in public service and the academia.
While Pst Ola Adejube took on the session for those who want to go into Church Ministry.
Pastor J. F. Odesola who is the national coordinator of The Redeemed Christian Corpers Fellowship also tool a session and a host of others.
While speaking at the training, The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pst Adeboye admonished attendees to be endued with the power to the holy spirit as it will enable them discern spirits that are not of God as there were so many fake preachers who are out there misleading people.
The Man of God said that the power of God was not for Showmanship but was for witnessing and evangelism as clearly spelt out in the book of Acts. 

Prayer for Ministers

While encouraging the students to remain steadfast in the Lord, Pastor Odeyemi announced that RCF Italy had been inaugurated while they heartily welcomed the over 150 RCF students who came from Benin Republic and Togo to be part of the training.
Prof. Dele Balogun who is a professor of philosophy and the president of RCF Senior Friends Advocates.

Pastor Odeyemi Announced that The Ministry had decided to begin to Plant Youth Churches that will be pastored by Young Men and not old men as attention is now being given to the younger generation. He said that at the moment, RCCG has over 30,000 churches in Nigeria alone and he expects that in less than three Years, The RCCG Youth Churches will be more than that of the adult.
Special Prayers were said for all Final year Students, outgoing fellowship executives, incoming fellowship executives’, corp member etc.
High point of the event was teaching, Bible study, prayers, impartation and high praise. There was also time for Games as different participating schools were seen engaging in different types of recreational /Game Activities.
In a chat with Malaborwatch Media, a student of The University of Ilorin stated that he had really been blessed by the teaching and Ministrations. He said he was ready to go back and show forth the power that he had been endued with.
