Second Semester, Lecture Begins
The University of Calabar has officially
resumed academic activities for second semester 2013/2014 Session.
Malaborwatch Media went around school
to observe what and what really took place and how academic activities were
going,
The School environment was pretty
Scanty unlike when lectures are fully in motion. We found out that some
students had resumed especially those in the faculty of law.
A concerned mother called a lecturer in
school to confirm if school had actually resumed and if lectures had started. The
lecturer affirmed the University had officially resumed for academic activities
but lectures were yet to begin as many lecturers were still marking examination
script of the previous semester. In his words he said that “students don’t usually
resumes early until after about two weeks or a month into resumption”.
Students should note that Lectures
have Commence in Some departments and 75% attendance is a prerequisite for
writing the second semester Examinations.
Those in the Faculty of Law can attest
to that, Students who did not meet 75% Attendance in class were not eligible to
take the semester examination.
Malabites and Malabresses, Pack your
Bags and Luggage’s and return to the Republic.
Furthermore, Malaborwatch Media saw
the newly Inaugurated Vice President of the Students Union Government Cruising around
School in her official Toyota Corolla. No doubt she is beginning to enjoy the
fruit of her over one semester consultation, throughout the electioneering
Process.
We wish her well as she carries out her official duties.
We are MalaborWatch Media.
