ETIM EKPO STUDENTS GETS NEW EXCO.
the National Association of Etim EKPO students in the University of calabar has inaugurated and sworn in the new executives for the association.
The inauguration ceremony which was held at the council hall of Etim Ekpo draws all the le creme of the local government to the event,including the council chairman,Rt.Hon.Udout Jack.
Speaking at the event,the council chairman,advised the new executives to work as a team,in order to sustain the peace and love in the association.
He admonished them to see themselves as the human parts where all the parts are important to each other.The chairman who are was represented by the worldwide president of the association Comr.Etienyene Afongekpe,also promised to pay bursary regularly to the students.
Earlier,the electoral board chairman Dr..Ubong Ise, while welcoming all to the event,described the elected officials as those neighbor oven integrity,who are capable of taking the association to the next level.He applauded all the students for helping him conduct a free and fair elections.
In a similar note,the step.aside President of the association, Comr.Innocent Ekop thanked the students for the support granted him while in office,and solicit for the same supports to his successor.
He high listed his achievements to include production of almanac,award presentations,production of constitutions and lots more.
High point of the events features the oath taking by the new excos.
The new excos sworn into office include:Aniebiet Udotong as President,Idara Akpan as vice President, Ubokobong Nkanta as secretary, Udout Idio as Financial Secretary.
Others include:Uforo Monday Johnson as the deputy Secretary and Blessing Akpan as treasurer.
In a word of advise,the President of NUCJ university of calabar,Mr Raymond Ekemini congratulated the tear rubber excos and advised them to see God first in all they do,son that they can succeed.
He pledge his overwhelm supports to the adminstration.
The new President,Comr.Aniebiet Udotong thanked all the students for voting him into office,and promised to operate an open door system system of government.
